“I made the switch to Moonshine because they have an innovative manufacturing process that, so far, is unmatched within the industry,” Pross said. “And because they care about the growth of their riders and the sport as much as they care about the growth of their own brand.”
Look for Pross on the IDF circuit in the 2016, where she will be defending her title in the women’s class and looking to improve on her groundbreaking 26th place overall finish in the open class. She’ll also be involved in Moonshine’s initiatives to get more female riders involved and enjoying the sport of longboarding.
“Emily is dedicated to her craft and her passion for downhill racing is infectious,” said Jeff Logoz, founder and CEO of Moonshine MFG. “She has a fierce competitive spirit on the course and is an outstanding role model on and off the course. As a relatively new company, it’s exciting that some of the best riders in the world have approached us and have wanted to join our team. Moonshine MFG is committed to building a diverse team of athletes that positively influence the sport of longboarding and help us drive innovation. Adding Emily to the team will help us continue to reach those goals.”
