Skate Like a Girl’s 8th Annual Wheels of Fortune (WOF) proved to be the yet another amazing showcase of non-traditional skaters, featuring divisions for All Gender 12&Under youth, Beginner Grrls, Intermediate Grrls, 30&Up Golden Grrls, and Advanced Grrls. Hundreds of spectators and our judges panel, led by Micah Shapiro of Grindline Skateparks, backed up by Alex White, Amy Caron, and Michelle Pezel, witnessed top professionals such as Lacey Baker and Jenn Soto, as well as heart melting mother-daughter duos, and multiple up-and-coming rippers from around the world, most notably Ariana Spencer who boosted a kickflip footplant over the hubba. In the end, Alexis Sablone murdered the 3-block and rails, taking home the top spot in the Advanced Division, scoring a check for $2K!
