Since 2000, Skate Like a Girl has touched the lives of thousands of people. Seeking to create an inclusive & accessible skateboard community, we have taught countless youth, women and families the basics of skateboarding through a variety of programs unique to the needs of various communities. Beyond this, dozens of young people have gained job skills through our Youth Employment Skateboarding program and countless volunteers have dedicated years ensure the success of our organization.
Over the last year, Skate Like a Girl has taken leaps of progress. Some of our accomplishments include brining on Directors of Development & Programs, expanding summer & year-round programs, hosting our 5th annual Wheels of Fortune all-girls skateboarding event, and embarked on our 5th cohort of the YES program. Let’s all work to ensure Skate Like a Girl continues with this momentum in the future.
We ask you to join us in supporting Skate Like a Girl; it is only with the continued generosity and support of our friends and community that we can continue in our mission.
